Hello TROUsers

We are the heartland … we are “The Rest Of Us” … we are no longer the “silent majority”.  What followed the future debt decrease buried in the debt limit increase vote by congress was not a “crash”, it’s a “bust”!  You can see what happens when you keep quiet whilst the politicos vent their spin and then vote their interests.

P.S. Thanks and compliments to Duluth Trading for making the trouser pictures available.

  1. I didn’t understand all the blather about the debt until I saw Jon Stewart’s Daily Show analysis which revealed that the reduction applies to the projected $28.1 trillion debt in 2021.

That is, the politicos are bantering and bartering over an imaginary estimated $1.8 T spending cut in an imaginary estimated debt ten years in the future!!

And I’m worried about next month’s rent payment.

To put this into practical terms that I can grasp, I will drop nine (9) zeros from the numbering system: It appears, metaphorically, that my current $14,290 VISA credit card debt, which is close to my $14,300 credit card limit, will not be a problem because the limit can be raised to $26,300 if I promise to spend $1,800 less than I estimate I will need over the next ten years!

Would any bank accept this promise and almost double my credit limit?

LESS more debt is still MORE DEBT!!!

What’s wrong with this picture? ANS: I actually voted for this BS!
